Deadly Groin Pain...
  • A 59 year old man with past medical history of hypertension and cigarette smoking is brought to the emergency department by EMS for acute onset right groin pain that radiates to the right foot.  
  • ​​ Pain began while patient was standing in line at a sporting event. 
  • ​He also reports paresthesias and a sensation of heaviness in the right leg. He is currently unable to ambulate secondary to his symptoms. 
  • He denies low back pain or recent trauma.
